Speed Enforcememt: Clowes Wood

Dear Resident,

Between answering calls over recent nights, Constables from Canterbury Local Policing Team 5 have been conducting speed enforcement checks within Clowes Wood. 

A year ago this month, a stretch of Radfall Road was reduced to 40mph, down from the National Speed Limit, due to the sheer number of road traffic collisions that have occured within the area in question. 

Several motorists were stopped and given words of advice, the worst offenders were issued tickets at the roadside. 

Please ensure that you observe the sign-posted speed limits, for your own and other road user's saftey.
